WHO?
Dented Brick Distillery is a Utah distillery that made their name from the bullet holes in the brick of the original building they constructed their distillery out of.
WHY?
They hired me to design this label to be an homage to the head distillers great grandfather Carl Ethan Akeley.
WHAT?
The goal was to show the accomplishments of Akeley, as he was the father of taxidermy, and very impressive hunter. Stories tell of him killing a leopard with his barehands. The famous photo of him after the battle was the main inspiration for the portrait of the label.
